Book Two | Sojourn includes the second 7 tracks (again, we’re calling them chapters 8-14 in keeping with the saga theme) of the spoken word project The Eternal Saga of the Saints. Book Two includes features by Through Hymn, Tiffany Cato, Eli Bros, and Derek Webb, as well as music from The Sleep Design, Ian McIntosh, Lovelite, The Ember Days, and Paramore.

Book Two is entitled “Sojourn” because it expresses the other-ness, the alienation even, that saints feel in the eternal saga while pilgriming in this fallen world with sin both around and in them for at least a few chapters before glory. Chapters (tracks) eight through ten are a call for the saints’ biblical literacy while sojourning in a truth-defying world. Chapters eleven and twelve are the saints’ confessions of sin and idolatry during the pilgrimage. Chapter thirteen is about the all-wise and all-loving God who gives good desires to His sojourning saints, while sometimes withholding the very good things they desire. Chapter fourteen is the sojourner’s sorrowful, yet hope-filled mourning at the ever-changing nature of seasons in the saga.
