Book Three | Abide includes the last 6 tracks (we’re calling them chapters 15-20 in keeping with the saga theme) of the spoken word project The Eternal Saga of the Saints. Book Three includes features by Joe Solomon of chaseGod.tv, Ameen of HGA, and Mari Conigliaro on the strings. You’ll hear music from Ólafur Arnalds, Loud Harp, and The Ember Days.
Book Three | Abide emphasizes the hope of eternal joy in God’s presence after sojourning through the temptations and trials of this life. The promise of abiding forever with God is what makes the saint’s saga eternal (John 14:2-3). And the command to abide in God’s Word and in God’s love is the saint’s duty of delight in the saga (John 15:1-11). God initiated the saint’s saga (Book One | Embark); God guided the saint’s sojourning (Book Two | Sojourn); and God transitions the saint from sorrowful, yet joyful sojourning to perfectly blissful homecoming at the saint’s death, and ultimately in The New Heaven and The New Earth (Book Three | Abide).
